The National Tongan American Society actively promotes Tongan culture and heritage in Utah. 

 

Friendly Islands Tongan Festival

The Friendly Islands Tongan Festival is a community event celebrating and showcasing the richness of the Tongan culture and promoting respect for and appreciation of the Tongan heritage. It is one of the most popular long running Polynesian festivals in Utah featuring arts and crafts, cultural entertainment and food from Tonga and other parts of Polynesia.

Pō Hiva Kilisimasi

The Pō Hiva Kilisimasi (Christmas Concert) is annual Christmas event featuring local Tongan choirs and congregations in Utah, a celebration of choral traditions brought by Christian missionaries and has become one of the biggest cultural events back in the islands.
